The 10 checkered hexacubes + the checkered tetracube can be assembled into a checkered 4x4x4 cube and tile an 8x8 checkerboard. Set aside the tetracube and the remaining hexacubes can be assembled into a checkered 3x4x5 block. All the above assemblies have a unique solution. This puzzle was designed with the aid of Bill Cutler's computer programme BCP BOX.
